Biosecurity

Our research is conducted in strict accord with biosecurity. This includes use of dedicated equipment for each estuary that we visit, decontamination of equipment and vehicles after visiting a site and autoclaving of all waste prior to disposal. We comply with permits issued by NSW Industry and Investment (NSW Fisheries) for scientific collection and specifically the conditions that apply in relation to POMS. We use a commercial car wash after every visit to an infected site to comply with permit conditions
