The research we undertake is communicated in a variety of ways, including via this website. We need to ensure rigorous standards in research and we need to ensure that our findings are available for assessment by industry and by the international scientific community. For this reason we aim to publish our research in leading scientific journals in a timely manner. Prior to publication each article is reviewed independently and anonymously by at least least two scientists (termed referees), who are active in the field of research, and also by a journal editor. Changes suggested during this intensive review process are incorporated into the article.
